whole house motor control?
i have a 36" whole house fan with i believe a 110v 1/2 horse motor. i'd like to set up a variable speed controller for this (if at all possible) so that i would have more control other than hi/low. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!!

Is the hi/low adjustment made with a two position switch? Is the motor a two speed or does the hi/low switch adjust the voltage that the single speed motor gets?
This will be important, since if it is a single speed motor, you might be able to use a beefy ceiling fan controller.
