buzzing doorbell

We have remodeled our home and I bought a new doorbell. I hooked everything up (using the old wires and transformer but the new button and chimes) It worked but I got a buzzing from the chime box. Someone suggested that I use the transformer that came with the new doorbell -- I changed that to the new one and it still buzzes! Any suggestions?

Youve hooked it up wrong and the chime solinoid is stuck in the closed position as if your button is being held down. Tell us what wires you hooked up where.

Anyone know where to find a 1/8-28 NPT tap?

I have a compressor with a 1/8-28 NPT fitting and I need to find a way to convert it to fit into a standard fitting such as a 1/8-27 NPT or a 1/4" NPT. Any idea who sells one of these? Thanks MikeRead More
