High pitched constant buzz/hum
In one bathroom, I have heard a constant high-pitched hum for the past 24 hours or so. At first, I thought it was coming from one of the attic cooling fans because one is located above this room, but I just realized that when I open the cabinet under the sink, the sound becomes much louder. I have also posted this on the plumbing forum, since I'm not sure what the source is, but didn't want to overlook a possible electrical problem. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Start diagnosing the problem by closing valves on your plumbing system. Close one under the sink and if it doesn't stop then open it and try another. Work you way back to the hot water tank and then the main shut off. If that doesn't work then do the same with your electrical system by shutting off and turning on the breakers at your main panel. Certainly doesn't sound like electrical to me but you havn't given us much information to work with. What was running when you first heard the humming?
