Question 3 way switch diagram

I 'm hoping to hook up four shop lights in my garage with two three way switches. I can't seem to find a diagram on anything but a single light application.
I have a 15 amp breaker feeding switch 1, two eight foot and two four foot shop lights then switch 2. I used 12\2 to feed switch 1, 14\3 for the rest of the circuit.

Any help you can give is VERY much appriciated.

Thanks, Wellard.

It can't be done the way you cabled it.

Let "=" mean 14/3 and "-" mean 14/2.

The way you tried is impossible:

Power-S1=L1=L2=L3=L4=S2

That will never work.

You need one of the following options:

Power-S1=S2-L1-L2-L3-L4

or

Power-S1=L1=S2, and L1-L2-L3-L4

I recommend the first option.

Talking 3 way switch diagram

John Nelson: Thank you for your help. After spending plenty of time investigating three way switch diagrams in every book I could find, your simple explanation was all the info I needed. I have almost completed a 1500sf garage. If I have any other problems I will be sure to ask you sooner.
