Finding underground wiring
How do you locate wiring that is underground? I tried a metal detector and that didn't seem to work. I know the wiring is there because it went to an older yard light.

I live in Iowa and we have Iowa One call that is when ALL(cable,phone,electric,gas,etc) of the utilities come out and tag your yard where possible wires, gaslines and anyhting else under ground might lay. Call your local energy company and ask for a locater - they should be a free service!
