Circuit Breaker Buzz

I have a circuit breaker in the main house breaker panel that protects an outside airconditioning unit (30 amp) that started to buzz the other night. snapping it off and then back on stopped the buzzing , but I am concerned that it might be arcing inside and need replacement. Any Ideas?

You did the right thing. It makes sence to replace it excatly in kind as a precaution. The mechanical connection as part of the breaker make be wearing, and it is cheap enough to replace the breaker. Be sure to buy an exact replacement, not a different manufacturer.
