Ceiling Fan - HELP! Bought @ Loew's
Moved into a new house with no paperwork on anything.....
Ceiling fan bought at Loews.....Harbor Breeze Cefire Fan
No apparent fan switch or remote switch to reverse the direction of the blades.....
Knowing that 99.9% of most fans are reversable, am I missing something???
Anyone else have this fan or any ideas on how to reverse direction????
Thanks

Motor Housing Color/Finish: Brushed Nickle
Blade Sweep: 54"
Number of Blades: 5
Reversible Blades: No
Blade Construction: Polywood
Number of Speeds: 3
Number of Lights/Bulbs: 1
Got this off the Lowes website, and as you can see it isn't reversible. That is strange. I too thought all ceiling fans were reversible.
Here's the link to the information page where I copied this if you would like more information on your fan:

According to the info on the Lowe's site, the fan is capable of reverse operation. The blades themselves can not be turned over, but it appears that the fan motor will turn the other direction. Look for a small sliding switch on the motor housing, I have never seen a fan without this switch. And I would be real surprised if a $200+ fan could not spin in the other direction.

hotarc,
Thank you for catching that. I misread the line as meaning that the direction wasn't reversible when it meant the blades themselves weren't reversible.
I now see, since its not 2 a.m.
, that it has a remote control. Is it possible that there is no manual switching to this at all, only remotely controlled?
Here's the link to the picture of the remote:
