run wire through concrete wall

thinking of moving my noisy air compressor outside of my garage to cut down on noise. I would likely use one of those rubbermaid storage sheds to house it near the back of garage. How would I run a wire through concrete block wall? I was thinking drill large hole for condiut and feed the wire through that and insulate around it afterwards. and attach the electrical box to the outside block within the confines of the storage shed w wet location in use cover. Any thoughts? It would be GFCI. Thanks-Josh

Good idea! Sounds like it would work fine. Should cut down on the noise, plus free up some space. How are you piping in the air?

IVe been soldering copper piping to various points in the garage that will then connect to flex lines from the ceiling. I have a main 3 ball valve shut off "manifold" near where the copper line will pass through the concrete wall, inside of a larger 3/4 pvc tube, ill insulate it up with expanding foam once Im sure it all works.

I also think I will put an inline switch ( with led so I know when its on) so that I can turn the compressor on/off from inside the garage, and just leave the compressor switch on. I got this unit from Harbor freight that automatically cycles the drain to blow out condensation so I wont have to go outside and drain it manually.

It will be my best "automation" effort yet! Thanks for the help-Josh
