dimmer switch
I installed a dimmer switch in my bedroom and now my ceiling fan does not work. It is a push button on/off dimmer switch. There is only one switch in my bedroom.(no 3way). What do I need to do.

If this switch controlls the fan and light put the origional switch back in.
If this dimmer is not rated for fan controll put the origional switch back in
if the first two scenerio's do not apply give more info.
A regular dimmer switch will not controll a fan and if it does it won't for long.
