Electrical problem

I have just purchased a house that is a handy man special.The house has been vandalized, in the dining room is a chandaleer that is switched from two locations it apppears to be fed power at the light, the two switches have two black wires and one white I assume two of these are travelers none of the wires are terminated it has been a long time since i have messed with three way switches i could sure use some help. Thanks in advance

Wiring diagrams for 3-way switches are everywhere. There's probably fifty or so web sites, plus the diagrams are probably in every home wiring book every printed, and most home centers give away free pamphlets with the diagrams. Here's just one web site to get you started, with a diagram that seems to match the situation that you described.

If you're going to be doing as much electrical work as it seems like you are, buy and read thoroughly a few good home wiring books.
