Disposal and DW

Disposal and DW
I am in the process of changing the kitchen around. I am moving the DW from one side of the room to next to the sink. I am also putting the disposal on a switch in the wall. Currently it is in cabinet. I currently have one power line going into the cabinet below the sink. What would be the best way to take the single line in and split one line for a switch to the disposal and one line to the dishwasher. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Let me assume for a minute that all the wiring will be in one junction box. Into this junction box comes four cables:
Remark both ends of Sw with a black marker and call it good. Depending on the power requirements of the dishwasher and disposal, and the amperage rating of the circuit, you may have to remember not to run both at the same time.
- The power cable. I will call this cable "P".
- The cable from the garbage disposal. I will calll this cable "G".
- The cable from the dishwasher. I will call this cable "D".
- The cable from the switch that controls the disposal. I will call this cable "S".
- Connect Pb to Db to Sw.
- Connect Pw to Gw to Dw.
- Connect Sb to Gb.
Remark both ends of Sw with a black marker and call it good. Depending on the power requirements of the dishwasher and disposal, and the amperage rating of the circuit, you may have to remember not to run both at the same time.

If the DW at it's previous location was connected to it's own seperate-circuit ,you have the option of terminating the existing DW cable in a juction-box and running a new cable from the JB directly to the DW in it's new location, leaving the DW on it's own circuit.
