Balancing a ceiling fan

I had installed a 5 blade ceiling fan in by gable sunroom. The electrican did not balance it so I followed the instructions - using the balance clip and weighs. It's on a 12 inch down rod. It still wobbles. Any suggestions?

Remove all weights, then start swapping adjacent blades, sometimes this helps. Also, look at the blades for weight markings, and be sure to have those with the same weights across from each other. Obviously that will be tougher with a 5 blade fan than with a 4 blade fan.
After doing this, try the balance kit again. I have done many of these, and sometimes it takes quite a bit of trial & error to get it right.
Good luck

Or just contact the fan manufacturer. After describing your problem, the manufacturer will probably be happy to send you a new set of blades free of charge. Properly matched blades will almost never cause a wobble.
