pigtails

I bought some pre assembled pigtails.(see pic) the awg is 12 but the wire is stranded. Is this ok?
I have 20a with 12 awg solid on my circuits.also they have "y" connectors on the end. Should i use these on terminal screws?

thanks

There is no problem mixing the stranded with the solid wire. The stranded is more flexible and will fold back into the box more easily.

Yes, the terminals will go under the terminal screws.

When you wire-nut the two, lead the stranded past the solid just a little bit. It will help it catch better on the nut and prevent it from getting slid down the solid and making little contact.
