outside garage wiring

I would like to add an additional receptacle(not switched) run from a ceiling light. I just want to make sure I make the right connections in the ceiling light. Currently in the ceiling light box, there are two 2 wire cables entering the box, 1 from a switch(cable 1) and the other to another rooms light(cable2). The ceiling light is wired as follows: Cable 1's black wire to the ceiling light black wire, Cable 2's Brown wire(assume it is acting as white) to the lights white wire. Cable 1's White wire connects to Cable 2's Black wire, and the grounds from both cables are connected. I would like to bring a 3rd 2 wire cable to the ceiling light to connect the new receptacle. How would I wire this to make it hot all the time?

I have a light switch in my garage that controls the attic light. I want to change that switch to a combination switch/outlet. I have 3 sets of 3 wires coming from the box in the wall. In the upper left hand corner there is a black, white, and copper wire. In the upper right hand corner. there are two diffrent set of wires both have a black, white and copper wire. The way the switch is hooked up now all white wires are twisted together with with a wire cap, all copper wires are twisted together with a wire cap. black wire from left side and one black wire from right side twisted together with feeder wire this wire is in top hole of switch. Last black wire is in bottom hole of switch. My question is can I use these wires to install the combination switch/outlet. If so how do I do this with available wires. I do not want the swith that will turns the attic light on to be on for the outlet to work. Can I achieve this goal with the wires I have. Please Help
