Smile Exhaust Fan

I am going to get a single post exhaust fan with no speed control. by code, can I just run this into the Dimer switch I have installed for the shower. This way everytime I turn on the shower light, the fan will come on.

Thanks
Andy

Don't connect it to the dimmer. The motor won't run properly. You can connect to a regular switch.

A motor not designed to operate from a dimmer will burn out if supplied from a dimmer. The magic smoke escapes and the motor no longer works. :-)
