breaker buzzing

hello. My wife and i were in the basement this evening when i heard a buzzing sound. i traced the source to the breaker box . the breaker to the dryer 30amp double pole was buzzing then it would stop then start .The breaker was warm to the touch . Is the breaker bad . It doesn't trip and its at night so i'm not using a lot of power any help would be great. The breaker is squareD and properly grounded.

Is the breaker tightly seated in the panel?

Is it a constant buzz, or more of a crackle?

Is the breaker the right size for the dryer load (is the amp rating on the breaker handle higher than the amp rating of the dryer as stated on the dryers motor tag?)

It certainly sounds like a bad breaker. The question is, is it simply a loose breaker, has it failed or has it failed due to chronic overloading?

does this breaker turn the circuit on/ off? Trigger it several times in addition to the before mentioned. Do the same for ALL breakers in box. Breakers have several mechanical parts which may vibrate. Check that the connections at the receptacle & cord at the dryer are tight. Warm breaker is no problem.
