Ground conductor

Well, I ran the about 70 feet of the #4 stranded ground wire from the service SD homeline 100 amp panel to the metal water pipe that enters the basement in my house. Things looked good until I tried to hook the wire inside the panel at the neutral bus bar and I found out that it does not fit. It is larger than the neutral/ground slots.

Any ideas of what to do?

Be sure when installing the ground lug that you sand to bare metal in the location where you will install it, and use self-tapping screws not sheet metal screws.
