junstion boxes / accessiblity

I have a couple of junction boxes on my basement ceiling where splices are housed. If I install a drop ceiling in the basement it will cover these boxes.

Because you can remove the ceiling tiles, are these boxes still considered accesible or do the need to be lowed to the drop ceiling height.

They are OK behind the ceiling. As long as you do not have to damage the finished surface to get access you are OK. A nailed in place panel is bad, a screwed in place panel os OK. A sitting in a grid panel is OK.
