how to ground in a 2-wire outlet?
I have a new light fixture to install in a house built in the 1920's. The new fixture has a black, white wires and a bare copper grounding wire. The old outlet only has 2 wires. What should I do with the bare copper grounding wire?

If the box is metal, connect it to the box or to the mounting bracket. Otherwise, just make sure it stays out of the way.
