installing puck lights
we are installing puck lights...the wires that came on the puck lights are not long enough (we bought singles) and we want to connect 3 together. How do we rewire them?

Well, here are two possibilities:
One, Do the lights need to be hardwired or are they low voltage?
If they need to be hardwired in, then you will need to have an electriction put a box closer to where the plug is at. You dont want to mess around with trying to re-wire those kind of lights as they "could" be a potential fire hazard. "Call the manufacturer of the lights to be sure.
If they are low voltage, yes, you can splice and wire nut or soter 18gauge wire to make the stretch longer. I wouldn't recommend you make a wire more than about 15 ft. Once again, call the manufacturer to be sure.
