Basement outlet height

Is there a minimum distance from the floor for outlets when installing in a basement?

If this will be a finished habitable room then NEC 210.52 applies. No more than 5 1/2' height to the receptacle. Also they do not have to be GFCI protected.

If this will be unfinished then there is no code other than that they be GFCI protected.

There is no minimum height in the national code. There may be local rules (but probably not), especially if you live in a flood plane. Call your building department to be sure.
