12-4 w/ground???

Hello all,
I am installing a heat ventalite exhaust fan I have 12-2 w/g feeding the hs-93 switch.
Now I need to run 3 hots to the vent, heat, light unit, need to run a nuetral (white) and bare ground to the unit.all from switch box

I would think I need a peice of romex 12-4 w/ground is there such a thing?
Is that right or is there something I am not thinking of?

thanks
Craig

What you would call 12/4 is sold as 12/2/2 at Home Depot.

There sure is! It's great for this application and has not been around for that long.
You no longer have to run a two wire and a three wire to these fans.

Thanks John Nelson and Speedy Petey.

So 12-2-2-w/g

Sounds good to me only thing the nearest Home depot is 50 miles away and the hardware store around here thought I was nuts.

Thanks again time for a short road trip.

I don't usually go to the big orange store. You may want to call first to see if they will cut that size wire or just sell reels.
I do know that have alot of different sizes to cut so you probably have a good chance.

Why not run a length of flex and individual conductors? This may be more readily available without a 50 mile trip.

Thanks for the other suggestion PCBoss,
I think I might go that route due to the 100mi. roundtrip. But I will call HD to see what it goes for and if they cut it. I may do the trip, need more lumber anyway for more remodel job.

Thanks
Craig
