Heat lamp sizing

anyone have an idea of how to size heat lamps for a bathroom. We have several bathrooms in our new house. wiring is not done yet. also, should the heat lamp be on its own circuit?

heat lamp sizing

don't know why my orig post got moved to the wilderness of "small appliances" but....
I want to figure out if there is a particular way to size heat lamps (eg 125 W, 250 W 375 W) for a bathroom application (similar to the ones used in hotels). I don't want to put a undesized (or oversized lamp) in my bathrooms.

depends on how hot you want it. 250w seems normal. You also have choice of colors too....
