Hello: HotTub. Welcome to Do It Yourself. Com
Since your question has to do specifically with the electrical wiring to the hot tub and not with the hot tub itself, I moved your question into this electrical forum topic.

Hot tub wiring is special. The requirements have many characteristics that don't apply to any other circuits in your house. The normal recommendation is to have a pro do it for those reasons.
If you are a very experienced electrical DIYer, then you may wish to educate yourself. I would recommend you visit your public library and read all of article 680. You might also want to look at this web site for tips.

"How to run the wires from the panelboard"-----
You must select a Code -approved Wiring Method which could be (1), Armored Cable, (2), Non-metallic cable, or (3) PVC conduit.
If the Wiring Method must be implaced on and under framing members such as studs and joists, PVC conduit may be the most practical Method. We will need to know the existing strutural conditions between the panel and the point where the conductors terminate.
CAUTION!!!!!!!!!! If the cord-plug does not fit into either a "standard" or a GFI 110-volt ,15 or 20 amp receptacle, the voltage-rating of the load may not be 110 volts. You will have to be absolutely certain of both the voltage and current ratings of the load. Possibly this vital infromation appears on a name-plate.Correct Grounding connections are also a "Must"
Good Luck & Enjoy the Experience!!!!!!!!!!!

The instructions with the hot tub will specify what type of circuit is needed. Do not deviate from the instructions, except perhaps for larger wire (a lower gauge number).
If you do not have the instructions then contact the manufacturer, perhaps via their web site, and obtain the instructions.
There are other considerations, too. Will the hot tub be outside? How long is the wire run?
Keep in mind that the circuit will need to be dedicated only to the hot tub and that it will need to be GFCI protected.
