Flourescent Light Help Needed
I have 3 four foot single flourescent lights in my kitchen and all three have their own power lines with all three running to the same wall switch.
1 of the transformers burnt out on one of the lights so I decised to replace all 3 light fixtures with new ones.
The problem now is that when I turn on the switch sometimes they all come on and sometimes 2 0f the 3 comes on and sometimes only 1 comes on. It's never the same pattern.
I replaced the switch in the wall also and made sure all the connections are good.
Any sugestions?

I thought that also, but I returned and replaced them today and got the same results.
I'm using the best fixtures that Lithonia Lighting offers.
They worked fine before the one ballast blew on the old ones and I connected the new ones to the same wires. Black on black and white on white.
Driving me nuts.

Newer rapid start fixtures need a good ground to work properly all the time.
In any case the only safe thing is to find and attach the ground to the fixtures.
I have seen way too any DIYers and incompetent installers just cut off the ground wire with no regard for safety.
