Possible Electrical Problems
I think I might have an electrical problem, but have no idea how bad.
I have an outlet in my bathroom wall. I had a hair dryer quit working on me and figured I just needed a new one. i bought a new one, plugged it inot the same outlet and this one quit working within a minute of turning it on. Neither hair dryer worked in any other outlet after this. They just quit working.
About 4 days later the bulb blew in the bthroom ceiling fixture and now the buld blew in my bedroom (which is right next door to the bathroom).
I am worried at this point about using anything electric in my house particularily in this area of my house.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Several possiblilties for this problem. It sounds like an overvotage problem. One possible cause is an open or loose neutral wire on your main supply(meter can, main disconnect, power company connection). The problem could even be on POCO side of the wiring.
