Aluminum Studs??

I just finishing framing in my basement and am working on the wiring. I did most of the framing with wood 2x4s. However, on one wall I used aluminum studs. I have been looking all over for the grommetts or bushings that go into these studs (I think they are plastic or rubber) so that I can wire safely (without the wire resting on the aluminum stud itself). I am wiring with regular romex 12/2 wire. I cannot find these grommets anywhere!! I am from the Detroit area. Any idea if I can order these online and where?? Any direction is greatly appreciated!!!

Have you tried local electrical supply houses? One supply company that should be in your city is Graybar Electric.Good luck.

Where did you buy the metal studs? They should have the grommets - or know where to get them.
