install a breaker

i'm installing an outdoor light i have ran all the wire in conduit did all the other wiring of switch and another outlet i am now going to connect to the service panal i have a gfi breaker i have the black to brass screw and the neutral to the silver i'm going to connect my gruond to the bus bar and the white off the gfi to the bus bar then snap my breaker in...... is this all the right steps

Can't find anything wrong there. Be careful. Shut off the main breaker. Even then, watch what you touch.

I personally find it easier to install the breaker first, and then connect the wires to it, but that is obviously a personal preference.

As John said, do this with the power off and be careful anyway.

If you really want to be safe, turn your main breaker off when you install the new breaker.
