Baldor motor. Cant find same #

While storing a metal slitter, it was knocked over & bent the shaft on the Baldor motor.

I need to replace either the shaft or complete motor but cant find the exact Model #.

Its VWL1307 spec 35D15-73 Frame 56C 3/4hp 1725 rpm.

Will the VL1307 work since it has the 56C frame.?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,
I strongly recommend finding a local motor shop to evaluate your current motor, or help find a suitable replacement. There are just too many variables here to look at. Most likely, the motor you have is an altered version of the VL1307. While that motor might work, it's too risky to buy one without knowing for sure. Like I said, check with a local shop. You also might want to check with Baldor directly.

Thanks.

I cant find the cross ref list on grainger but have sent them a email Ed. & have written emails to baldor etc.

I will check with my local motor shop, but fear they will want way to much money. I see one on ebay for $25 !! Everything matches except the model #. The other ones Iv seen are all over $200. Lots of money for a tool Iv never used but need to sell.
