home amp boxes

i am a first time home owner, my home was built in the 50s. My ? is lately i have noticed that the lights dim when we run things like washer/dryer, garbage disp. Also they just dim a little without these things running. i think are amp box is a least 100amp.

First step is to have the utility company tighten all wire terminations on their side of the meter.
Next step is have an electrician tighten all wire terminations on your side of the meter. If the problem happens without stuff starting, then I would have the tightening done soon, as it is probably a loose neutral conductor.
This will usually take care of the problem.
