recessed light trim question
Another question on recessed lights. I have already installed 26 Emerald recessed lights. Having trouble with the trim and the bulbs that Lowes sold us.
they originally wanted to sell us a Halo brand trim for the emerald but thought we should not do that because emerald specifies that we should use the emerald trim. but again having trouble installing them.
We know that the Halo trim will attached OK but is there something different in the metal or any reason at all that we should not go that route.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.
Harlan.

Don't the emeralds come with the trims?
I never considered Halo trims for them. Do the H99 series trims fit the emrealds?
Persoanlly I would not do it. There is most likely a UL issue with using a different manufacturers trim as the can is usually wattage rated according to the trim that is used.
