Ceiling Light
I have an old house with knob and tubing. I would like to install a ceiling light without a wall switch. My question is I want to install a ceiling light with a pull chain, how do I install this new light with a pull chain and how to wire it in, is there a special pull chain used for this application?

Pull chain lights are the easiest of all fixtures to install. Just buy one, run a continuously hot power feed to the ceiling box, and hook it up. I suggest you get a book on home wiring.
If you find that the K&T is in poor shape (i.e., the insulation crumbles), then I suggest you make no wiring changes at all until you can afford to have it replaced.
