Red face 2 receptacles,switch, light

I hope I can state this in a way some one might understand! I'm installing a ceiling fan in a bedroom and had to change out the box to support fan. In the process(yep, I did) I forgot to tag wires. Here's what my feeble mind thinks it remembers. 4 wires into box(easy enough) Black from switch to light-white from switch and black from power connected. 2 blacks from receptacles soldered together and taped off. And, I believe, the 2 whites from receptacles were soldered together with white leading to light. Does this sound like a proper connection? Any advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

Where is the "white from power"?

My guess is that thwe white from the power needs to be with the other whites (not the switch white), and that the black wires to the receptacles need to be combined with the black power and white switch light.

Racraft.........Your reply seems to be the answer, but what I can't understand is why the 2 blacks from receptacles were soldered together and taped off.
