Ceiling fan - 4 wires?

Installing a second-hand (still new) ceiling fan (fan only, no light kit, 3 speed with pull chain to control speeds) - I have the black/white/bare copper at the ceiling mount, but there are 4 wires coming from the fan (white/black/blue and green). Of course, no wiring instructions came with the fan. Can anyone assist in identifying which colors I need to connect to which at the mount?

Standard fan wiring is
White neutral - connect to white power line
Black - fan hot - connect to black power source or switched hot.
Blue - Light hot - connect to black power source or switched hot.
green - ground - connect to bare or metal box.
Even though you have no light kit the internal wiring is still in the fan. There is a plug that the light kit connects to. You can just leave the blue wire unconnected.

If you think there's a possibility you might add a light kit in the future, then go ahead and connect that blue wire to the black wire from the ceiling along with the black wire from the fan. That way, you'll be light-ready.
