Ground rod resistance

Is there a simple way to measure the resistance of a grounding electrode? I understand that the code requires 25 ohms or less. Many thanks.

Are you being required to show certification of the ground rod?

There are ways to measure the effectiveness of a ground system but it takes special equipment to obtain a meaningfull reading.

You would need a special meter.
The code only requires 25 ohms or less if you have only one rod. There is no resistance max if you drive a second rod.
