Question Adding breaker

I am adding a breaker to my electrical box, but I have never heard of brand of box. It is a Federal Pacific Electrical Company box and I am not sure where to find breakers. Does anyone know where I can find one of these breakers or of a brand that is interchangable. It needs to be 220. The house was built in the mid 70's (if this helps). Any help would be appriciated.

thanks,

Federal Pacific is still operating in Canada, but they pretty much went bust in the U.S. many years ago because they had this annoying habit of making breakers that didn't trip when they were supposed to.

If I were you, I'd replace the whole panel for your own safety. But if that's too much for you, try ebay for the breakers. There are a bunch available from the millions of people who are dumping these panels like the plague.
