Multiple grounding rods and ground loop

I'm getting a loud hum through my speakers whenever my satellite tv is hooked up. The dish is grounded but I believe to its own grounding rod. I've read that this can cause a ground loop and may be responsible for the hum I'm hearing. I also read that if the grounding rods are "bonded" the problem will cease. How should this be done?

There are a LOT of variables to this. You need to list more information. The first issue is safety. Is the dish on the house or in the ground? is the SAT line grounded where it comes into the house? Let's make sure the dish is grounded properly and then move onto the hum. How is the sat receiver connected to the TV? By the way this is probably in the wrong forum.
