securing cable at a metal box/knock out hole

I understand you are suppose to secure cables when entering a metal box. I frequently run across situations where this hasnt been done. Does anyone know of a product to accomplish this without having to remove the cable. I'm familar with the normal ones that fit into the knock out hole and secure the cable with a small clamp, I was just hoping to find one that can be added without removing the cable. For example, while in an attic I noticed a metal ceiling fan box without the cable secured. How can you secure this cable without removing the fan.

These fittings made by Arlington will do what you need: http://www.aifittings.com/c_9.htm.

They're actually made to be installed before the wire, but with a little patience and a lot of care, it will go in.

Please kill the power before installing.
