Yes. Tell us the make and model number of the fan control, and the wires in the box that you have to work with. Also tell us if your fan has a light.

Talking Whoops! Left out the most important info

This is my first time attempting to install something electrical.

The make and model of my fan is a Mikado 54MI with a Wall Control.

54-inch, 5-blade construction
14-degree blade pitch
Command System 2000 Wall control unit
100-watt halogen light fixture (bulb included)
188 mm x 20 mm aluminum motor
80-inch lead wire

The wires on the wall control unit are 1 light green (with yellow stripe) and 2 black. The wires to the motor/light fixute are white black and green.

Since you referred to this as a wall control, I assume you are installing this in an existing electrical box in an existing wall. And I am also assuming that this existing electrical box has existing electrical wires in it. Please describe those wires by color and count.

Or is this a brand new installation where you will be running brand new wiring in the wall?

Finally, what city do you live in?
