Having trouble making an IC

Hi everyone,
I am currently having trouble making an Intergrated circuitboard. The circuit board is suppost to let out a a weak radio signal, which can then be picked up by a reciever. The signal should only be sent out when it has be been activated, and should only be sent once. If anyone could please help me it would be great, Thank you.
Rob

I don't think most of us are up with this kind of electrical project. Most of the questions here are with house wiring, but maybe I'm wrong.

Could you describe what you mean by a "radio" signal. Are you talking an FM signal, or just an audible tone?

You also say it only transmits when activated. How is it activated? Remotely?
