Wiring Pull Chain Switch

Is it possible wire a pull chain switch into my pendant light. If so, how is it done. I have basic electric/wiring skills but am not sure of the diagram. From the ceiling I have a black (hot), a white (neutral) and a ground wire. My pendant has two copper wires (ridged on one, smooth on the other). I am using a pull chain switch that has two wires. Thank you for your help.

Talking Pull chain switch.

Yes, it is possible but not knowing the setup it will be impossible to describe. I had a similiar situation in my hallway. The was an hex outlet box that was also hot, no switch. So I went to a lighting store and they said thet could fix me up to the tune of $50.00. I said no way. I when to K-mart and bought a simpe wall mounted scone and a pull chain switch, drilled a hole in the base of the sconce, mounted the switch, connected the wires together and mounted to the wall. Works great. I know it is not UL approved but since I mounted it myself, no problem. Cost me $10.00 total.

Ceiling BLACK to EITHER switch wire.
Ceiling WHITE to RIDGED from fixture.
OTHER switch wire to SMOOTH from fixture.
Ceiling grounding wire to any and all other bare or green wires and to any metal box or mounting strap.
