220V Air Conditioner Outlet

A friend gave me an almost new window air conditioner but unfortunately it needs a 15A 220V outlet to plug into. There is a 30 amp electric dryer outlet that I don't use within reach of the air conditioner cord so I'm hoping I can just replace the 30A box and outlet with a standard 15A 220 type. Then if I change the 30A breaker to a 15A I should be set to go. Anyone see any problems/issues doing this? Thanks.

Yes, you can just change both the breaker and receptacle to 15-amp versions and you're good to go.
