Dimming lights and Washer/dryer units

Thumbs down Dimming lights and Washer/dryer units

I have noticed in the last few days that when the washer or dryer goes on that several of the lights in the house dim. Is this being caused by a overload or by loose connections in the Box. i.e the neutral

This time of year, it's probably lower than normal voltage due to high use in the area, but a call to have the power company check all of their connections is usually free and wouldn't hurt. They might even go a little beyond their responsibility and check your breaker/fuse panel for problems.
