Code Question

Is there a maximum number of ELs that can be used with Sched 80 PVC conduit (1 1/2 in) and #2 THHN Copper? My subpanel project needs a few 90 degree turns to get to a large enough knockout in the panel without tearing into the wall cavity completely.

Thanks

Leslie

Can't have more than 360 degrees of bends between pulling points. Even so, you probably want to limit yourself to 270.

Not to exceed the equivalent to four 90-degree bends.

A pulling point being a place to grab wire and pull from. So is the removable cover type El is considered to be a pulling point?

Thanks

Perfect. Thanks for a quick response. It will make the project much easier to finish using those ELs.
