Cove Lighting....good or bad??
I'm planning to get rid of an ugly floor lamp in my master bedroom and install a strip of cove lighting on one wall. Ambiance is my main priority, no need to make the room too bright.
Aside from going with expensive rope light or zenon lights, I'm looking for economical and effective way to have the same effect; possibly flourescent lights.
Anyone has a brilliant ideas/plans on how to achieve this??
I'm thinking about tearing the top 6" portion of the sidewall, create a 'shelf' and install lights upside down. Is this a feasable idea??
Thanks in advance

Make a 6" shelf, about 12-18" below the ceiling and cover the exposed edge with crown molding. Then place single tube fluorescents end to end on the shelf. Looks great in my kitchen.
