Door bells wiring problem

I would like to know how to wire two door chimes to one transformer using only one button?

Basically, run a low voltage, 3 conductor wire from the Front - Rear - and transformer screws on the primary chime to the same connections on the secondary chime. If you do not have a back door button, you can use 2 conductor wire to the Front and transformer screws only.

If your transformer is sized for one chime, you may need to replace it with a larger model. to get a solid " ding - dong " . Any big box home improvement store can help you with the sizing.

Standard doorbell transformers are 10va. For two chimes, it is usually recommended that you get a 20va one. For three, get a 30va one. It depends a bit on the chime.
