ceiling fan where not fixture currently exists

I am looking to install a ceiling fan and dual controls(lights as well as fan) in addition to the current switch which controls a wall outlet. I have looked behind the switch and it appears I have three black and white wires in the switch box. How do I hook up to ceiling fan?

Replace the existing switch bos with a three gang box.

Determine which black wire is the incoming hot wire.

Connect the incoming black wire to one side of each of the two new switches.

Run 14-3 or 12-3 wire to the ceiling.

At the switches connect the red and black wires to the other side of each of the new switches (one per switch). Connect the white wire to the other white wires.

At the ceiling box (make sure it's rated for a fan and properly installed) connect the wires to the fan.

At the switches and at the ceiling box connect all ground wires together and properly ground the metal box a, the light/fan and each switch.
