TV/Phone Line to Garage

The posts on running power to a detached garage has been very helpful.
I would like to know if I can run a telephone and TV cable line in the same underground conduit as the electrical to the garage or if there would be too much interference. If I can't run in the same conduit, what is the recommended distance the conduits should be buried away from each other?
I would like to dig and place the conduit myself and have an electrician hook the wires up on each end.
Thanks!

Forget the interference issue for a minute, you are not allowed to run low voltage wires and regular electrical wires in the same conduit. Period. Not allowed.

Now to the interference. Separate the conduits by at least one foot.

Suggest you also run a CAT5 computer cable line to the garage. I don't know if you are in to computers but it might be nice to have later. And it is an easy addition if you are already running cable.
