Pig Tail Neutral Or Not ?

For ease of space, I started a multiwire circuit at the box.
At the first junction box however, I split the circuits in two separate branch circuits. Other than at the first box, is it necessary to pigtail the neutrals ?

One circuit is just outlets (9) so its easy to use the screws.
The other circuit is 5 outlets and some hi-hats.

like John said it is not necessary however some people prefer to pigtail (if they have the room for it) because if for example your second outlet goes bad it could break continuity to the rest of the outlets.
