Given that the style of boxes used in regular homes canb differ from those used in mobile homes in some instances, we need you to tell us more about what has come apart. I assume by "the whole thing" you mean the box has come out of the wall, and the only support is the opening in the wall and the cables.
Is it a plastic or metal box?
What size is it (outer dimensions)?
How deep are the walls?
What type of wall surface is there? (Sheetrock, wood paneling, etc.)
How thick is the wall surface?
Is there a stud immediatly adjacent to each box that the box can be remounted to, or a new box remounted to?
How many cables enter the box? Is it romex (normally white plastic sheath)?

Turn the power off the the circuit if you must disasemble or work on the receptacle and its box, just to be safe. Given that several have already come apart, I would not assume anything about safety.

The basic two soulutions are remount the existing box or take it out and replace with a new one, of a better design.
To determine the solution, the current configuration must be determined.
